I transfer my website from other hoster (siteground), because in there my website was always down, no reason, but since I transfer my website here in Maiahost, it never has any problems, none, I am really happy for this, so far.

Mine is a short, to the point feedback on my recent migration to Maiahost. I migrated from Globat.com at the beginning of June, this year. I was initially in a frenzy downloading (backing up) the content of my sites (two of them) in anticipation of having to then upload all my content to a new host. We're talking GIGS of data/files.When I found Maiahost I really liked what they offered; it fit my hosting needs and their options for later expansion were/are second to none. The bonus came when they were able to migrate all my sites intact...withing a mere 24 hours! That is not an exaggeration, either. Well I never Taught I would Have Fine A Hosting Company Like This I Sign Up for the Hosting account and first thing i was please with was the after service or customer service how quick i always get on to them no matter what the time it is I Like the Cpanel and What it has to offer. I try everyone from godaddy who service look ok from the out side but when i start the hosting i was disappointed with it,. A next feature I Like is the no Contract Feature of the hosting I love It All In All This site Rate 9 out of 10 for me You Guys Get A Customer For Life

Today I was on the hunt for a new hosting service because my current host is due for renewal. I asked on twitter if people had suggestions, and a friend recommended Maiahost.. One of my main goals was to find something cheap.. the service I currently use was going to cost me $100 to renew for 1 year, and for what they offer, its a good price, but the problem was, I didn't use ANY of the other things that provider was giving me.. all I needed was a place to host my wordpress blog (chrisburke.ca) it's just a personal blog site, that gets maybe 500 visitors a month.One of the things I love the most is that they accept paypal.. even though its a great method of payment, not many people accept it for some reason.. I hate using my credit card for online purchases.. so paypal is my preferred method of payment.. so it was great!.

I started a chat with the online support people, asked a few questions, found out that they would actually do all the transferring of my old server to the new one.. which was nice! within 15 minutes of checking out the hosting packages, and chatting with the service guy my website was transferred over to maiahost.. and it was painless!! One of the things I love the most is that they accept paypal.. even though its a great method of payment, not many people accept it for some reason.. Hallo, ich bin von Maiahost total begeistert. Diese Firma bietet den besten Hostingservice den ich kenne. Man bekommt Hilfe rund um die Uhr. Wenn man den Livechat nicht nutzen kann, da er am Wochenende mal nicht besetzt ist, dann erhlt man spätestens nach 1-2 Stunden eine Antwort per e-Mail. Ich war bisher bei One.com, dort lies sich das Silverstripe CMS nicht installieren da der gebotene Speicher nicht ausreichte. Auf Supportanfragen (ticket) wurde einfach nicht geantwortet. Ich werde jetzt noch, nach und nach mit meinen anderen Domains (www.mc-reiseservice.com) zu Maiahost wechseln. Die Sever von Maiahost sind so schnell, das es keinen Unterschied zu in Deutschland sthenden Servern macht. Ich kann jedem nur empfehlen bei Maiahost zu buchen. Preisleistungsverhältnis ist absolut Weltklasse.

I switched over to Maiahost from one of the bigger named sites over a few years ago. I will not name that service as not all the problems were their fault. I had some problems with the other service when a friend who was maintaining my site for me left me high and dry suddenly. I had no idea how to back up databases or anything and he left me in a big lurch basically because he was more psychotic than I thought he was initially. Luckily I took the precaution of backing up each post in the from of HTML files. When i came to Maia I had to lose my old URL address and set up everything from scratch. I made a mistake right off with my FTP and uploaded everything to the wrong folder. They fixed this for me without me asking. My former site had some FTP connection issues as well and it took to long to get replies back. Usually a day and I received a generic overly technical mail that I had to ask for clarification on and then had to wait another day fro another obfuscating reply. I did not have many problems at Maia until my traffic grew and bandwidth and CPU usage consumption grew as well. Venetsian was patient and helped me set up WP Supercache, something I tried on my own and may ave messed some things up. I have had DB table issues I could not resolve on my own or from WP Support and he went and corrected the problems for me. When my site was hacked over and over by some lifeless whacko he helped me by moving the site to a new server. Almost all responses to issues have been in less than day or sometimes immediately or through live chat support. My site is heavy with images and media and yet they have tried to work with me to keep me aboard before doing something drastic. I live in China and get paid in Chinese RMB and it is a lot for me to keep the site hosted and probably I could find a cheaper site but I am going to stay with Maia as long as I can because I am happy with the support overall. I hope someday the semi-dedicated service can be cheaper but it is still cheaper than most other sites which start at around $70 a month. I have to adjust to it is all. I think it is a new and growing company, not sure, and things will improve more and more over time. As long as the tech support stay about the same I will certainly stay here. I have read some negative things about the service online and do not know what that is all about. Some issues have been my fault. Trying to do something then screwing up some php files somewhere or not knowing how to operate the cache properly. Venetsian and the other people, like Joe and Ben (when her was there) try their best to help. In WP Support I have read lots of comments by people who can solve a problem and the tech support of their hosting service cannot or will not help them. I feel here I can stop monkeying with things and let them do the work when they have time. Since moving up to the semi-dedicated service my site runs pretty smooth is not offline due to any issues of mine (since getting Supercache going). There has been some downtime of course but nothing to complain about. Usually another site eating up the CPU or my ISP connection is slow for a while and cannot load my heavy page. That levels out soon. I am a happy costumer. Maybe not everyone will feel the same way but I am okay with the service and will soon put a banner link back on my site Maia. After trying several different cheap hosting companies i started to realise that you get what you pay for. maiahost was the last chance before i coughed up big money for a hosting package. maiahost is absolutely unbelievable in price and quality i cannot begin to praise them enough. I have had my account a few months now and i have never experienced any downtime or server overload. with 24 hour support they have always been on hand to help me out even with things that are not directly linked with my package. great work maiahost please please please keep it up.
